The Mission:
Hairhouse is a Retail & Services business specialising in top hair and beauty brands, as well as Salon and Piercing services. Due to COVID-19 and its associated prolonged travel restrictions and state lockdowns, consumers’ preferences for online shopping has increased our profitability as people stayed home.
The Task:
“To remain Australia’s pre-eminent destination for hair and beauty across Retail & Services (salon and piercing)”. To reinforce our haircare expertise and point of difference in the retail sector .“We want to ensure our branding is sharper so your hair is more beautiful”. The rise in online hair and beauty competitors (Adore Beauty, Oz Beauty) have increased in recent years and we want to solidify our place as a market leader as these competitors rise.

Captain's Log:
Along with my creative partners, Zi and Yohanna our goal for this campaign was to supply light-hearted giggles and support our TA in making decisions on the hair care regiment. We created a series of Social Media ads and metrolites based on factoids of historical hair care practices. It's Hairhouse meets Horrible histories!
We want to bring in a new audience to Hairhouse not just for the season or while the current fashion trends run their course but for the long haul. To this effect, our tagline, “It’s easier with Hairhouse”, speaks of the depth of knowledge and experience found in the Hairhouse staff and curated range of products. In the same vein, we wanted to keep our executions simple in their construction; no tricky marketing, just a problem and solution; a setup and a punch line.
